Decisions, decisions.

I've spent a good bit of time this week scoping out the perfect fabric to make curtains for our new place. You may recall the large sliding door in the dining room... well, the lack of window coverings on this large looks-directly-into-our-home-from-the-sidewalk area is one of the first things we hope to remedy upon moving. It's not so bad in the daytime, but when it gets dark outside and we have lights on in the house, it's basically like a giant TV for the world to watch what's going on inside.

And since JoAnn is having a 60% off sale on decorator fabric this week, we're hoping to make up our minds in the next day or two. As of now, we have it narrowed down between these two:

Waverly's Essence in Circa Citrine

And Richloom's Modesto Ikat in Horizon

We're not sure if we want the downstairs to be more blue or green. All our furniture could work with either, really. It just comes down to preference. Bryan's more a fan of the green one, he says the Ikat looks wet, "but at least it would look like it really belongs when it's raining outside." Yep, that's my husband. Ever the interior decorator. I guess we'll see!
